A symphony of destruction extinguished our primordial record.
Complexities painted black and white, not grey and checkered.
An epic silence heard on the streets of Paramaribo.
Knowledge diagnosed as a contagion of impetigo.
A horizon dotted with empires built on sacrifice and by stone swords.
A vainglorious and indignant memory recalls those forgotten words.
Luscious dreams of a celestial tree on sands untouched
Becomes a dystopian drawing of unctuous hands once clutched.
The follies of mud-fighting entice our esteemed Marquis.
Passion condemned into the chasm by a contrite catharsis.
A righteous racketeer, a refined rogue, and a tormented villainy
Battle a corrupt cleric, a malicious monk, and a vexed tyranny.
Warlords ought to be troubled not by a grand defeat but by battles won.
Pedantic semantics are appraised as the price of the midnight sun.
