Self-portrait of a sleeping man.
Flowers plucked from the sand.
An answer once uttered in a dream.
Visions of dancers in the land of fireflies.
Drum circles passed around starry eyes.
Between sentience and sleep, everything oscillates.
Light refracted by a broken prism.
Paused time bleeds altruism.
Torn apart by the tiniest zephyr.
The sun escapes to write its confessions,
Obscure pursuits and primal obsessions.
Divergent roads still longing to elope.
Shepherds without a flock.
A shrew befriends the hawk.
The sun does not see its own light.
The people gather around to curse the feast.
An acrimonious ritual for the newly deceased.
Every candle burns in memory of its brothers.
Fulfilling the only known fate.
A guard stands without a gate.
The Elephants stretch to smell the flowers.
