Patient Titans

Read Now

By Ahmed Latif

A lugubrious aria
Held in glowing chains.
Days drum like tachycardia,
Imprisoned by growing pains.
Enduring and eccentric elephants united in bliss.
Fragile pain frightened away by a slender kiss.
Mountainous wrath tamed by flowerets in the glen.
Angelic eyes dance to the heavenly song of the wren.

A pixyish disposition and a peevish logic.
A merry state and feeble persuasion.
Tentacles of a creature, untamed and chaotic,
Wrapped in escapades of love for any occasion.

A melodic clamour has annexed the tedium.
A loveable pandemonium becomes Elysium.
Runaways rampant on a rampage for sanctum,
Dangle from an innate thread held by the phantom.
