Mindful of the palpable discord seen in blue skies,
The clouds invade with their granite light.
A grotesque beauty witnessed by playful eyes
Flutters upwards in its unfettered flight.
Silky clouds and castigating seas.
A forbidden zenith and a forgotten nadir.
Smoky hills and snowy trees.
The butterfly rests in the hands of a raider.
Jungles of jade and emerald estuaries.
Vermilion valleys colour the viridian vastness.
Songbirds pick out the bitterest berries,
And serenade with a sanguine song of madness.
Pacified pirates from Heraklion pay reverence
To the amending of their inherent constitution.
The raindrops are free to fall without preference.
The butterfly and its brothers will inherit this revolution.
